RAC offers two levels of European breakdown cover to suit your needs - basic cover and comprehensive cover. The basic cover includes roadside assistance and recovery to a local garage in 47 countries. It also provides repatriation for you, your passengers and the vehicle to the UK.
The comprehensive cover provides the basic cover and in addition starts from when you leave your home in the UK, you benefit from the supply of a replacement car so you can continue on your trip and cover any accommodation costs whilst your car is being repaired*. RAC Comprehensive European Breakdown Cover offers single or annual trip cover across any destination in Europe. Other than roadside assistance it also provides a replacement vehicle for your continued trip. Adding to this, RAC’s comprehensive European breakdown cover also includes accommodation cost while your car is away for repair.
RAC European breakdown cover is available either for a single trip where you are covered for 1 trip according to the dates of travel specified by you or annual cover whereby you are covered for 12 months for any number of trips that are less than 90 days.
